Introduction to Life After Service

My name is Dominion, my state code number is FCT/15A/0748. I passed out on 14th April, 2016. Keep reading to see how I was able to create my own company within four months of completing the one year compulsory service to our father land.

I have passion to affect people’s life positively and this steered me up to take up the challenge immediately I was mobilized for national youth service, I concluded within me that  I'm not going to search for any white cola job, this decision was to enable me to do what I like most with the whole time I have. I don't want to work for money rather work for humanity and create wealth through training, consulting and charity work, you may ask how! Everybody must not be an entrepreneur neither should all of us work in a company or for the government. Follow your desire passionately like most of us have done.

When I concluded what I'm going to do after service, I started writing my business plan which is the blueprint for my business today, and every entrepreneur needs one whether you are out to wow investors with the next big thing, seeking funding including bank loans to expand an established business or creating a roadmap to help you and your team set a clear strategy and goals for your business as you grow. Whatever your objective, a great business plan can be the difference between success and failure.

I had to set goals while I was serving and it has helped thus far, another thing about goals is that you have to really want them. Really, really want them. Rewarding as goals may be, reaching them can be tough and time consuming. Sometimes it may feel as though the whole world is conspiring to keep you from accomplishing your goals. When you sort through your dreams to figure out meaningful goals-goals that are yours alone, not ones other people think are worthwhile for you-you'll find goals you can stick with. Along the way, you'll get to know yourself better and like yourself more. Getting motivated and aiming for your goals, whether or not you achieve them, can give a huge boost to your self-esteem.

Goals are the way people reach their dreams. But that doesn't mean that with the proper goals, you can reach any and all dreams. You may dream of winning the lottery, for example, but there's really not much you can do to make that happen (buying 5,000,000 lottery tickets is not a realistic option). You may dream of becoming a six-foot-tall, Russian fashion supermodel with an enchanting accent. You will never, ever meet this goal if you are a five-foot-tall Nigerian teenager. These dreams cannot be translated into goal setting and success. Realistic goals are things you want that you have the potential to achieve.

I have few resources to share with you as you are still serving or after you have completed your one year compulsory service to our father land.
